Hey Mom!

Hey Mom! Check out the goods mom. You want some of these pictures? I know you do. All you have to do it make one simple call with an offer. These aren't even the cute ones. I'll be waiting for that call.

Great Grades

Guess who got great grades this quarter? Yes, the princesses did! I promised to take them to dinner anywhere they wanted to go. #3 wanted McDonald's. #2 picked, as you can tell from the pictures, Pukie Cheese. It's no secret that the devil created chuckie cheese to drive parents crazy with all the bells and ding dinging and those flashing lights don't help and brake the bank with the worst pizza in the universe! What's funny is that there are TV screens all over the place telling kids to exercise and eat healthy. All this while serving greasy pizza and mountains of candy in the prize box. You know that I would never give kids the amount of money needed to win the bazillion tickets it takes for the big stuffed rat that's hanging up high with the lights shinning on it. But they sure had enough tickets for candy and the goofy jewelry that is only going to get caught in the vacuum anyway! This is to show you how much I truly love my girls. I pulled them out of school early. Told them how proud we were of them and recognized their hard work. Smiled at the children when we got to hell. Not once did I complain. Didn't even rush them out. Didn't yell. Just sat and read. Even took the girls to McDonald's for an ice cream afterwards. Good job girls! Mommy and Daddy love you.

Strawberry Time

Every year since arriving in NC we have gone strawberry picking at the same farm. Gross Farm has the best butter pecan ice cream in the entire universe too. The kids just have to always try to out do each other in who picked the biggest berries, who's faster, who can pick the most. Dew is no help when he is the one antagonizing them the most. Eight buckets of berries. Eight! Thanks Dew. There were enough strawberries to can three cases of jam, five small tubs of freezer jam, about six gallon size freezer bags, enough for strawberry shortcake twice and strawberry pancakes. Not to mention how many berries we ate during the processing of. This year the entire family helped with cleaning and hulling. It was an opportunity to see how we worked together as a family. If these are the kids that are supposed to care for Dew and me when were old....... it'll be interesting.

The Little Gorrrrillas

My brother has three good looking and adventurous kids. Here's Gordo riding Chavo. Chavo is crazy. He's huge and crazy! The doors to the house are left open so Chavo can have free reign over the property.

All three know how to ride dirt bikes. I can barely petel a regular bike.

Now this is the princess. Daddy's girl through and through.

Befor and After

Before.

After.

This is Nana. Jill and I took one look at her and said "makeover!" Nana's hair was supposed to be shorter but we made a mistake of letting a Spanish speaking beautician cut her hair. Hey mom, remember this day. Nana and mom hadn't spoken in long time until this day. After the makeover, I took Nana with me to pick up my mom from work. In all fairness I did call my mom ahead of time and told her I had a surprise for her. Only she thought it was Jill who I had flown in from Utah earlier that day. Could have swor my mom's heart stopped when she saw Nana sitting on the passager side of her car. It was great! Hey mom, it was all Jills idea.
This is Meesa and her Josh. I like this brother-in-law too. I was lucky to get a picture of their faces though. Meesa and Josh have this face locking disease that makes it hard for them to eat, talk, breath, move without their toungs being locked together.
